Can't you add a legal disclaimer to the registration procedure whereby anybody who lives in a caravan cannot access this board?

TaipeiAngel:
The aim is to get decent forum software installed with better admin facilities but the priority is to get the website up-to-date etc first!
In the case of NWS I have made my point clear on a couple of threads and if his/her persistence continues then I'm not beyond the possibility of banning another member.

Fine ban away. I have not put anything abusive on any threads merely replied to points made.
I have been abused but you are happy with that.
It appears that anyone who exercises the right to reply to unprovoked attacks is not welcome on the Tonbridge board. It appears you have trouble with the truth.
A ban would not surprise me, as you yourself have referred to us as Maidstone Invicta and then capped the thread so I cannot then reply to such silliness. It seems you are a little concerned with the facts and evidence I am putting before you. You certainly cannot answer the questions, replying instead with abuse and vitriol like children.
When banning me perhaps you would like to take your supporter that keeps on coming on our messageboard. We have not banned him despite the fact that many of his messages have been abusive.
You will ban me when I have not been abusive.
It says a lot about you and your supporters.

It is my long-held belief that the "Angel of the South" poster on your forum is not a genuine Tonbridge fan. I'm quite happy to be sent the IP address so I can confirm this if you wish, as it would most likely match with one of the 180 or so members on this forum.
As for banning, it has nothing to do with whether you have been abusive or not. I'm quite well aware that you haven't been. I'm simply bored with having to lock threads where you continually take the bait and whine on about some good-natured banter. If you feel they are "unprovoked attacks" then go and complain about it to a Maidstone fan because I honestly haven't got the time to care.

I haven't complained. I have merely replied and you cannot take my good-natured banter. It is your supporters who (when I have out-answered them) have complained. Are the replies of one man in Cumbria too much? It is sweet how you remove my good natured banter messages to save their feelings though.
I still don't understand how you proclaim not to care about MUFC or my messages yet you write non-stop about them and I constantly receive replies. The fact that you wipe out my good-natured replies suggests you do care and you are getting angry not bored. If you were bored you would ignore not remove messages.

PS If you ask Bryan on our website for the IP address of Angel of the South I'm sure he will be happy to give it to you.

"...unprovoked attacks", NWS? Honestly sweetheart, what do you expect? What use could we possibly have with your MUFC opinions? You appear here merely to be baited and ridiculed, which should be obvious, surely, even to yourself. If you don't like it, feel free to leave, but this is how banter between local teams is, all over the world. Would you like us to be all sweetness and light towards you? - "Oh, we really wish M******** well now, since they are no threat whatsoever to our superiority...". I am of the opinion that you post here purely trying to soak up some of our reflected[glow=red,2,300]GLORY![/glow] If you feel this way about our forum, why not stick to the message board of your own team in future, where I am sure someone of your intelligence could quite easily become King of the Gypsies... good luck!

Which brings us full circle again, Foxy. In ridiculing me and baiting me (as you so term it) your fans are actually showing they do care about us. The main question I keep asking is why - if you don't care about us and are so much higher - do you feel the need to keep on about us? When I ask it I am threatened with a ban (despite ignoring personal abuse). Perhaps you will care to answer, sweetheart, as none of your predecessors have managed to do so.
Oh and Dan I suggest you familiarise yourself with the similie sleeping giant before making rash comments. One of your own supporters answered the question for you by noting that we wheel out more supporters for cup games. Some crowd figures in the last 2 seasons have been: 1k at your ground (of which we had c50%), 1,500 in a midweek friendly against Gills (mostly Stones fans - which even surprised me), 950ish at home to Boreham Wood, 450 at Newport (mostly Stones fans as they were boycotting). That shows that the support is there and we need to find a way of enticing them back ( and I think playing at Sittingbourne makes quite a difference actually, as nobody really likes its lack of atmosphere). Hence, I think you need to consider what the term sleeping means, as I think you're a little unsure. Oh and we changed our name back to Maidstone United about 6-7 years ago. I'm sorry you hadn't realised.

You really are getting tiresome now, NSW. Nobody here gives a stuff about Maidscum United or Invicta.
If you keep posting, we'll keep replying, it doesn't mean we are interested in Maidscum or its supporters. Have a look, the same thing happened when Kings Lynn supporters kept coming on here, it doesn't mean we care about them either.
You appear to be obsessed about the size of of our attendances, maybe you have an obsession about the size of of other things?
Please do yourself a favour. Put the pegs away, hitch up your caravan and head off to the Maidscum message board.

NWS
I am new to the Angels and this league. I have been to a few games but as I live 2 hours away from longmead I can't get to all the games as I would like. You seem to to have some kind of complex with your inteligence and out witting people. Grow up.
Being new to the club I don't understand the situation between your club and the Angels other than it is local rivalry. We don't like your club so deal with it. For someone with your inteligence you should be able to see that it has nothing to do with 'caring' for your club or even being interested. Do Arsenal care about Spurs? Also would you expect to join a rivals forum and not expect banter regardless of the severity of it?

Right on sister!!! (or brother.... ) I totally agree, if you have a strongley worded opinon, try talkin to the people with the same views. Trying to put something up that is going to affend people is not a good way to go. This is a place to have useful, sensible discussions, not to fight it out and decide who is best. People need to grow up round here, and you know who you are... (sorry about the rant....*gets offf highhorse*

Exiled Angel - By continually replying you show you do care. I think you should note that I have only replied to threads having a go at my home town or my team, so I would not try to make out that I have come on herestarting a load of trouble because all I have done is give you the other viewpoint. That is in black and white for you to peruse over at your leisure. Size of attendances is something that your supporters have continually carried on about (maybe you might want to ask them the same question you put to me). I mentioned them in relation to a point I was making to Dan (who was also rabbiting on about attendances). Perhaps you might also want to tell us about your fascination with pegs and caravans.
Taipai - Good one. Glad to see you reply to someone with no life.
Cirdain - You are getting closer to what I believe is the answer to my question, although I think you go off the point in implying that Arsenal do not care about Tottenham. I would disagree and say that Arsenal very much care about Tottenham. They may not like them, but they do care. What is the first result the fans are looking for at Arsenal? They want to see how Tottenham did and vice versa. I am the same about Gillingham (oh and to answer Dan's point in another thread - we still don't like Gillingham, as a result of old local rivalry. They may be way ahead of us, but it is still them we don't like).
Katie - Not sure if you mean me and me only, but I will say I haven't looked to offend anyone (indeed I have refused to be drawn into some of the personal abuse that has come my way). As you seem a bit less of a radical poster I suspect you may be referring to others as well.
Can't remember who put the thing about being concerned with intelligence and outwitting. That has been my method of dealing with the varied range of messageboard 'strategies' I have seen here. i.e. 1) We really bored of you. 2) Giving a silly reply, restricting the answer and putting a silly smiley face on (Dan's strategy). 3) Get a life/Get a life muppet. and (the one that always makes laugh) 4) Can't you take it. We were only winding you up. All are predictable and laughable.
