Neville (Ringo Star) Davis will be performing a sponsored drum at the Folkstone game on 13th December 2003. Please give generously as you can appreciate this is not an easy task for the entire 90 minutes and ALL the money raised goes towards the clubs ground improvements . Sponsor forms will be available at the Chatham game from the club shop, the bar and certain members of the Barmy Army. If you would like to receive any further information or give early donations please send me a message. Also please get round behind the goal and make that extra bit of effort in making some noise for Ringo and the team! Thankyou and Come on you Blues! ;D

I'll certainly be backing him - his drumming certainly helped us win at Ashford and Chatham and I know the players appreciate the support . All the best Neville.

In Chile the drummer always keeps going for the 90 minutes. This is done by drinking a bottle of pisco (brandy will do) and smoking half a dozen joints before the match. Over to you Neville!

I forgot to mention the sartorial requirements of a 90 minute drummer, as seen in South America. To achieve the desired look, Neville will have to be topless and wear wrap around sunglasses. Also, in his particular case, he'll need a long black wig.

Can i just add that if you want to help by letting peole who dont have access to the internet know about the sponsorship then that would help the barmy army, neville and the club out a lot. any extra publicity would be great. ;D

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who has pledged their money so far, the response at Erith was very good. Could I encourage those of you who want to pledge to the sponsored drumathon to make yourself know to one of the Barmy Army at Sittingbourne or failing that there will be sponsor forms behind the bar, in the clubshop or ask Toni Jarrett at the Fleet home game. Lastly could I ask that everyone give their encouragement from behind the goal on the day of the Folkstone game! Anyway got to go now, I have to start rolling Neville's joints for the day!
