Pretty much what their supporters were saying when they visited us. Second place is obviously not good enough.....

This is of great amusement considering all the criticism we got for being "arrogant" after Alan Walker's "Sack me if we don't go up" Non-League Paper article in the summer...

Well, if ever there was a signal for all of us supporters and directors alike to stick our hands in our pockets to make sure that Alan and our team can carry on the good work it must be now. The decision by the Kings Lynn board can only be seen as an admission of defeat for a club packed full of the better players in that area. I spent some time there during the summer and saw at first hand how optimistic the club was especially now that Peter Morris was in charge. All this goes to prove that without a good set of directors plus fan base, but most importantly a great team spirit you won't win anything. Chances are that they will spend yet more cash employing one of the local rivals managers, probably Histon or maybe Stamford, this guy will want to introduce his own players who in turn will need time to bed in. Blimey now I really am getting carried away. Roll on the play-offs. C'mon you Angels.

Unfortunately we as a club have always carried a huge expectancy of acheivement(ok arrogance then )but this is the problem when the support base is so big and the nearest rivals are so far away. I for one was pleased when the board finally sacked Morris.Apart from loan players and reserve players we have had very little new blood in our team. The tactics he employed(aerial bombardment in particular)were at best questionable.YES we are second and still in the Trophy but the team we have,if managed correctly could have achieved more! This is a huge season for us all in this league and getting rid of Morris now instead of in February is in most peoples opinions a wise move. As for spending yet more cash thats a little rich(!) from your club. Our club may yet surprise us all and promote from within although I suspect you may be nearer the truth and we will be looking for a "big" name signing. If as you summise our board have admitted defeat in their appointment of Morris then I for one am glad they had the balls to do it before it was too late. All I can promise you at this stage is our players havent conceded the league yet and you will get a hell of a reception at our place in December.By the way you gonna bring many??

Ray. We have not played outside of kent since september, and we don't go out of our county till we play you in december , so always hard to judge , it might be raining, very cold, xmas shopping, not a big fixture?,i reckon 60 -70 very noise blues behind the goal and 40 -50 on the half way line, so 120 max,but then again could be more because we have not had a proper away day for a a while.
