got a fund raising idea. let us organise a blue ball sales kiosk in one of the high street arcades every saturday. loads of people passing by could be attracted to buy at least a single ticket and some might buy more. need to get permission from the council (our landlords). maybe there would be a chance to flog a few match programs and sway a few punters to come down to the game at the same time. with the market up that way now the potential numbers of people has increased. plus the irony that the arcades stand where the old ground was! maybe the council will do us a favour THIS TIME!

That sounds like a good idea! we could also offer information about the team to attract new members....

I think this is a great idea ,sell blueball, programmes, club bits and bobs ,and have a collection tin/bucket.With the market moving, the sat morning shoppers will be a lot more concerntrated to one end of the town. They are the people we should try to interest anyway. Any offers to man or woman the stall/stand,well 3 of us think its a good idea so.....

Such a stall/stand should only require about 2 to 3 volunteers from 9-10am-ish until 1pm on home game Saturdays, and all day on away game Saturdays? Seems like a very good idea, so if anyone is at a loose end on a Saturday to help out we could get this moving quite soon?

Well i suppose to start this the council,or the market site manager would need to be contacted in the first instance to get some sort of permission,or to find out the cost of renting a pitch or space to set up, i wonder if they will do us a favour ?.We would not need much space. Also the club or board would need to endorse this.
Things to included on the stall/stand. BlueBall Programmes Golden Goal tickets (take name and number of buyer) Basic club products. Adult or family match tickets where the adults pay and the kids get in free. Collection tin/buckets. Match day posters so the shoppers can see future fixtures. There could be more. The times of 9ish to 1ish would see hundreds of shoppers/Tonbridge folk passing by, and with christmas coming fast this will increase,so this would be a great time to start.
So delboys or girls, and lots of rodneys will be needed.
