i am an old member who has just got round to registering again. sincerely hope it isn't true. having seen the weather forecast for saturday perhaps we should all be prepared to stand by with our forks to ensure the game goes on. as our only home game this month it's vital we play it

sorry psp. but it is the sort of thing that can happen....
You are right about saturday tho. The forcast is dire. I will be there but will need more beer to relieve the cold (or block it out )

Reports on Radio Kent and KMFM today said that no decision on cutting budgets will be made until after the game tomorrow. Game will be on if no more rain, but i think lots more is on its way , take everyone down there you know tomorrow, we need a huge gate, and it might be the last game ,the best Tonbridge side in years play together, this should never of been allowed to happen in the first place, i for one don't belive its just due to Brewers pulling out,if we have been paying well over the odd's wages to players and a large groundstaff then it was bound to happen sooner or later. I read some where at the start of the season the club had budgeted for crowds of 420 this season, well every league game bar one has totally surpassed that amount. The club say we have no money due to only one home league game in november, well we had 5 in october at home where's all the money gone from that. Why did Brewers pull out they have been with the club a while now. From tomorrow until 7th of Feb we only have 4 home home games, apart from getting a home tie in the Kent cup, and the home games a all V teams who dont bring many apart from Folkestone.. So you can see if the club is to proceed intact on gates alone there is not much money coming in the next two months.
