Can anyone confirm some travel details. I have typed in london kings cross to kings lynn on national timetables web site and they have shown an hourly service leaving Ldn KC at **.45 arriving Kings Lynn one hour 34 min later for £23 return. Seems too good. Anyone booked or looked at these?? www.nationalrail.co.uk/ and click on plan my journey

A few of us in the Barmy Army are getting the 9am departure from Tonbridge although our departure time from King's Cross is undecided, it's possible we might stay in London briefly. No doubt 1BarmyArmy or 2BarmyArmy can give more details!

Yes thats correct, the 9.06 that we will be catching from Tonbridge allows us roughly an hour to get from London Bridge to Kings Cross to catch the 10.45 to Kings Lynn. Arriving at Lynn (what a girlie name!) for 12.19 resulting in enough time for a few shandys before the game! I understand the price at £31 from Tonbridge without a railcard, or £26 with so the £23 you were quoted from Kings Cross sounds about right. Anyway thats enough from your local railtrack adviser, see you all saturday. Come on you Angels!

Also, i believe we will be going into the pub the Fenman which is supposed to be opposite the station at Kings Lynn.

Can Big Phil, or anyone else with the knowledge, let us know about other pubs to try?

The Fenman as stated is opposite the station. For the more adventurous (or those with too much time to kill) you could head towards the market place for a large selection of pubs BUT this is in the other direction from the ground. The ground will probably be open from about 1.30 but dont quote me on that!Burgers etc at our ground are crap so be warned.Loads of takeaways on London road a few minutes walk away.

Cool all sounds good....what with the stupidly early time that a lot of us are leaving, I think a strong drink will be in need when we get up there! - and are you saying that we really souldnt be munching on your food then???

Unfotunately i wont be coming to the game but there is no doubt it will be a cracker and hopefully we can follow in Chatam's footsteps and beat them. That would be good getting the double over one of our main rivals!!! Hope u all have a great time up there C'mon u blues!!
