the result was a fair one although the scoreline totally flattered KL - one fluke goal, one goalkeeping howler and caught twice on the break. it was a pleasant drive, nice ground (what the hell is that ground doing in our divi?) until the retard norfolk inbred low IQ element got involved - that said it all. you have a few fans you should get shot of as they give your club a bad name. violence was not something you experienced at Longmead - and you were chanting 'arrogance' talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!!! anyhow we can be forgiven for an 8-0-1 away record. losing away to the 2nd place team is no big deal. what about Corby & Chatham - who bottled it then?

some KL neanderthals 'rushed' the 20 or so behind the goal after their 3rd. I believe most of them (having scraped the back of their knuckles in the process)injured themselves when they all fell over keystone cop style in a heap. one of ours got punched and a girl got kicked. Animals!

trying to get one upman ship by relaying insults via this forum is pointless. Those of us who were there and experienced first hand what happened know exactly what was being said to try and 'wind us up'. It is obvious to me that the 5 or 6 'big boy lads' who were giving it the most were not genuine supporters of kings lynn. However, the fact that so many jumped on the band wagon and were prepared to trade punches and insults was pretty disgraceful. I know it was their Christmas party etc but that is still no excuse for chargeing a group of supporters made up of Children, women, OAP's and others. Some will say they scored at the wrong moment, but from reports they were waiting to run through us when enough of them had removed themselves from the bar. It was without doubt the worst show of any home supporters i have come across. It may sound like sour grapes due to the result. It isnt they played us off the park second half and deserved the win. Maybe not 4 goals but certainly a victory. Shaking hands with some of their supporters at the end and telling them they deserved the win was accepted by some of them. The mindless idiot who shouted at his own fans to stop shaking our hands and that he wanted us outside showed their intent and a POLICE ESCORT from the ground does really say it all. We were not allowed in the club bar afterwards for our own safety!! I really does beggar belief............

No-way am l trying to condone any thugs trouble making BUT I stood in the bar before the kick off both sets of fans chatting , THEN about 8 or so ANGELS came in "well oiled" and started chanting abuse THATS when feeling ran high I WISH THEY WOULD BAN ALL BOOZE AT FOOTBALL MATCHES......

I was one of the Well oiled. So i presume " We are top of the league" chant counts as abuse in Norfolk! One of our group was pushed and tripped in the bar at half time also. All i can say is thankyou for the hospitality! I hope we can do the same for you sometime.

I think the person who started this thread actually has a point in that I believe its entirely possible that our team cracked under the pressure of the occasion at Kings Lynn. That Kins Lynn were the better team on the day was never in doubt. From the moment we lost John Beales(again) and had to re-organise with "Razor" reverting to full back we were in big trouble.Lack of height in defence was a telling factor and I am afraid that once or twice our centre backs were caught well out of position, but its only one game in a long campaign, and I am sure Alan and the boys can get it sorted out. That players should have to contend with pressure on the pitch from the opposition is without question. However whether they should have to accept the sort of abuse aimed at them by some "Manic" droids calling themselves football supporters is another issue all together. Unfortunately this was the case on more than one occasion yesterday when the visiting players had to retrieve the ball from close to the touch line.Surely the time has come when the stewards or police should be allowed to prosecute those making visible threats to players from the terraces. Unlike these sad people the Kings Lynn players done thier club proud in all respects, although why they should wish to be associated a club like this amazes me.With the memory of Kins Lynn fans chanting "What a load of Rubbish" at Longmead, clear in my mind I was deeply impressed these same players applauded the Tonbridge lads who were supporting thier team well after the final whistle in spite of the fact they had not played well. I was one of those assaulted yesterday by those oh so tough norfolk boyo's looking for trouble. The experience actually reminded me of one or two encounters with members of the opposite sex when I was much younger but we won't go into that ,except that the girls done more damage. To those responsible I would say this. You are a disgrace to the club you claim to support, particularly the stewards in the area of the ground affected behind the goal. These people who give up their time to support the club by doing a job so neccessary for the existence of all football clubs were deeply embarassed by your behaviour. The fact that your actions prevented visiting supporters getting a drink in the bar after the game because of the threats you were making is in my opinion something the Southern League should take very seriously indeed. Oh and just a final point on the day. When we left the beautifull surroundings of Kent in the morning we were determined to have a great day and we did regardless of the shambolic behaviour of a few complete idiots from a very drab, sad place called Kings Lynn.

Credit to the Kings Lynn stewards for their apologies to us for the behaviour of the few idiots who rushed to our end to have a confrontation when K. Lynn scored their second goal, and for protecting us afterwards. How brave those morons were in reducing a young lad to tears, and kicking the drum over, most of the Kings Lynn fans were decent people, but if this minority aren't curbed from their excesses, their club will gain a really bad reputation,I have not witnessed anything as bad as that at this level of football before. All the Tonbridge fans who were on the coach were able to go into the bar afterwards with no trouble. I am sure the result would have been different had Ray not had to go to right back as he was causing all sorts of problems to the Lynn defence, we were unfortunate too, that their goals came from breakaways, and that our second "equaliser" was ruled out for offside, so no we didn't bottle it, and both the first and fourth goals would normally have been saved by Jamie.

Of those trying to cause trouble, I only saw one wearing Kings Lynn colours. The others, such as the 2 baldies and the one wearing what looked like a Fred Perry hat should be banned from attending matches. They weren't kids and should have known better. In order to help the stewards, who did a good job, maybe Kings Lynn should consider segregation when they know that a visiting club is going to bring some fans. They might lose next time, and what would happen then, a ground closure?

I forgot to mention the man standing near my wife who immediately claimed that the mobile phone that she had dropped was "his mate's". He slithered off when someone offered to ring her on it. Quite pathetic.
