Following the 2-0 win against promotion chasing Wealdstone the Reserves have recorded results as follows: Won 2-1 at Walton Casuals on Saturday 12th (Cooper & Bryce). Lost 2 -0 at Molesey on Saturday 19th. Lost 3-2 at Croydon Athletic on Tuesday 22nd (Bryce & Brozik). With 2 away games remaining against Croydon (26th)& Bracknell (3rd May) the squad will be looking to consolidate 7th position in the league.

How can you consolidate 7th position!!
Surely the idea is to forget about league position and concentrate on bringing in younger players.
As the door is now open to the first team should we not be looking for a reserve team with at least 8 to 9 players being 19 or under??
Can we expect a change of strategy next season??

Should the Reserves reduce the number of youngsters (U19) playing on a regular basis to 8/9?
Supporters who regularly watch the reserves would testify that that are so young that most don't even shave yet! I agee that position in the legue and results is not the major concern and it is about development but without securing a reasonable level of sucess Tonbridge would not be able to attact and retain players of potential ie Beales,Ainsworth,Sinclair,Hawkes,Neal,Pittaway, Pearson,Williams etc etc
